We love good food.
Good food needs regional and seasonal products. These are the pillars of our cuisine. Not more, nor less.
We travel a lot throughout the country, try and taste, visit local farmers and question neighbours. We pick and choose the best Sri Lanka has to offer. Be it Nalin's fish, Ravi's papaya, Roshan's buffalo milk or Dinesh's vegetables - we need to know our suppliers personally.
Besides the focus on Sri Lanka's overwhelming world of spices we will also let our european and austrian backgrounds influence our cooking. RIght now we are making our own brezels, baking our own bread and Austrian pastries and produce our own jam with a selection of Sri Lankan fruits. Even though the latter might be due to our occasional homesickness.
Be sure that we will find the appropriate choice to overwhelm your palate: nature's best fruits from our own UTMT fruit stand, your singhalese inspired egg-dish in the morning or for example the classic chicken curry for dinner on our picturesque terrace.
